Steve Hollamby - Musical Director

 

Steve Hollamby studied trumpet, piano and composition at the Royal College of Music opposite London's Albert Hall. Since 1987 he has taught brass at Tonbridge School and its surrounding preparatory schools. He is a busy freelance composer and arranger having worked on several projects for the Classic fm radio station, editing for Maecenas Music and producing brass band and other music through his own "Pen and Ink" publishers.

He is an active professional brass player, running a brass quintet that has played in Canterbury Cathedral and other prestigious venues, as well as playing with the well known Wallace Collection. He is one of the few exponents of the keyed bugle and has been recording a series of CDs of 19th Century music on period instruments.
