Steve Hollamby studied trumpet, piano and composition at the Royal College of Music. He is a busy brass teacher at Tonbridge School and Eastbourne College and their surrounding preparatory schools. He is a busy freelance composer and arranger having worked on several projects for the Classic fm radio station, editing for Maecenas Music and producing brass band arrangements. He is an active professional brass player and a member of Jubilate Brass that regularly play in Canterbury Cathedral and other prestigious venues. He is one of the few exponents of the keyed bugle and has recorded a series of CDs of 19th Century music on period instruments with the Wallace Collection and the London Gabrieli Brass.
